With another busy year drawing rapidly to a close and our AIES members already having many work and social commitments, we have decided to not hold a face-to-face Christmas meeting this year.

Instead, on behalf of all the AIES Committee members, I would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a very happy and safe holiday period.

The committee will meet next year prior to the first general meeting to plan an exciting year ahead of AIES activities to benefit you as a member and the Australasian Pressure Equipment Industry as a whole. This will include a calendar of Technical Forums, topics for our biannual Gazette journal, follow up on Australian Standards and other matters.

If you have ideas for discussion topics, expert presenters, articles for the Gazette or any other matter that would be of benefit to all AIES members, please do get in touch with me on secretary@aies.org.au or our Gazette Editor Anne Rorke on info@aies.org.au.
